• Image of Padauk iPhone Stand

iPhone stand made of solid padauk. Padauk, a hardwood heralding from tropical locations such as India and West Africa, displays tones and wood grains not seen in lumber from temperate climates. King Solomon used padauk to build columns in the 10th century B.C. Furniture makers prize the wood for its pronounced grain and workability. Some padauks, e.g. P. soyauxii, are used as herbal medicines, for example to treat skin parasites and fungal infections.

The stand is sealed with a water based urethane to protect the wood and magnify the beautiful natural wood grain. Non slip pads are on the bottom.
